I’ve had a few people complain about us not allowing outside food and drinks but this is the first time I had someone take them in anyway like I wouldn’t do anything. The whole time she  had this “I don’t give a fuck” look on her face and I think she was very surprised when I followed her into the theater and told her to throw it away. She accused me of harassing her and demanded to speak to a manager who told her the exact same thing. Here’s the deal: Movie theaters usually receive just a 20% cut of ticket sales. Box office hits like Avatar? As little as little as 5%! The rest of the money goes to the people who made and starred in the movie. And if we complain? The studios can just stop sending us movies to play anytime they want. That’s why the snacks are so expensive and that’s why we stand to lose some serious money when people bring in their own food. So don’t think we won’t take it seriously, you might think it’s a victim-less crime but we know that you’re really cheating us out of our paychecks.
